A graduate of Nova University Law Center and the University of New Haven, Attorney Elia has served as a court advocate in Juvenile Court in the District of New Haven and interned at the Office of the Public Defender in Broward County, Florida where he tried and won his very first criminal trial. He has enjoyed a successful history in both criminal and civil court rooms ever since. As a lifelong resident of North Haven, he has contributed to the local community, serving on the Economic Development Committee of the Town of North Haven for six years. He was inducted into the North Haven High School Athletic Hall of Fame in 2001 and was elected to the “Outstanding Young Men of America” in 1981.
